America's Fallen Hero's

Fallen but never forgotten...

About the program.

The Purple Heart Parking (PHP) program is the original concept of SFC. Enrique (Ricky) Murillo, former Special Forces, in early 2016 after Mr. Murillo was wounded under combat situations that led to the eventual Purple Heart being awarded to him. Upon leaving the military, Mr. Murillo yearned to give back to his wounded and fallen comrades in arms and created the Purple Heart Parking program.

The first name that came to mind was Ed Cantrell. Ricky felt what Ed did was way more deserving and Ricky wanted Ed to be the first with the second sign being the brother of Ricky's best friend.

Ricky continued to build out PHP spots in areas near him and built up quite a bit of support! Ricky and his friends provided the labor and most of the initial set of funds to make it happen before sponsors started actively seeking out how they can help. The various vendors that support the creation of the sign also donate their time and material to help keep costs down. Specifically King Signs and Trophy House who help create the actual sign and the gold name plate that go on the sign.

Currently there are several PHP signs with 12 in the Fayetteville area and initial set of sponsors being Golds Gym, Hooters, Kickback Jacks, Omni Health and Fitness Center, Charlie Mike's Pub, Buffalo Wild Wings, Evolution Ink, Arrakis Consulting and Legends Pub. But, Ricky didn't stop there and, with the help of his friends, Ricky then revamped the sign to include a QR code which leads to the bio of the fallen American Hero. Ricky has also expanded his range and has signs in Georgia, Texas, and Florida with more states to come.

All funds provided go toward the creation of the sign and to let the families know thier loved ones, and our brothers, are not forgotten. When he can, Ricky also does suicide awareness events and promotes veteran suicide awareness and how to help combat it.

Just as the motto "Rangers Lead The Way", Ricky is leading from the front to help remember our fallen comrades and brothers. However any war can't be fought alone...will you help him push forward and gain more momentum?
